The HFBoards classic:
Step 1: make no contribution to the thread.
Step 2: wait for someone to have an opinion I disagree with.
Step 3: denounce the entire thread.
We're third in the conference, the first page covered 'buying out' all of our best players. You missed it, but it was a strong contribution, for all of Leafs Nation. In fact I counted it as my good deed for the day.

I didn't denounce the thread itself, but carry on if this is the direction you wanted this to go.

PS you should mention whether these productive buy outs occur today or in the offseason, to help stem some of the...ideas

2/3 of salary paid out , with years added on. Leafs might fight over offering themselves. The only thing better than scheduled losses and piss poor efforts would be not having to play hockey at all.

If you’re not mature enough to have a conversation about every player then don’t join the conversation.

Domi's useless and expensive so him.

He's horrendous defensively. He struggles to contain even against weak competition. He looks completely lost in his own end.

YouTube skills but hamburger between the ears.

Domi simply is not a capable centre. Shoddy two way play, numerous give aways, and a tendency to lose every puck battle he gets into. That's Max Domi in a nutshell.

His only contribution is the ability to go on hot streaks and put up misleading points.

That's the player Treliving gave $3.75M to score three goals. A whopping $1.25M each. There isn't a worse contract on the team by that standard and not many worse in the league.

Paying him to go away is looking like a pretty good idea right now.

Careful - going exclusively "by that standard" there are at least 185 players (10 for the Leafs) who have worse contracts.

Basically any player without a goal.
