I'm not going to spoil anything but the character's actions don't have the same depth of prior seasons. They don't think anything through. It's quite infuriating how "stupid" they've become.

To be honest, I don't really recall most of what occurred in those eight episodes, due to having my mind rinsed clean by binge-watching Mad Men recently.

However, I know the way you feel about the show feeling "tainted". Despite watching the entirety of the show in two or three weeks, there was a steep decline in the quality of episodes in Weeds after season 3 or 4. I still watched 5-8 because it was too addictive, but it wasn't as fulfilling to the point where I almost was waiting for it to finally end and put it out of its misery.

Anybody else catching Breaking Bad tonight?

Started season 1....but trying to get through Dexter first! So I put Breaking Bad on hold till I finish all of Dexter. But so far, in what little I've seen of Breaking Bad, it looks very interesting. Dexter is getting sloppy. I just started season 6 of Dexter.

I just started Dexter myself a few days ago. I'm five episodes in, but I'm trying to balance that with season six of Mad Men, plus Breaking Bad starting tonight...and then new episodes of Wilfred and Masterchef (don't judge me) every week.

Hell on Wheels was pretty good last night. Can't wait for Breaking Bad in 45, the show after it is intriguing.
