Baseball used to be my best/favorite sport but as I get older, it bores me more and more every year. I still love going to games in person though, especially if it's a nice stadium with a good atmosphere.

It's funny, I've had the same development over the past few years. Still enjoy it, but don't follow it near as closely as I used to.

For me, right now it's probably:

NHL > Football (NFL and College) > NCAA Basketball > Baseball (MLB and College) > Soccer >> NBA

Although with the Bobcats, and soon to be Hornets, stepping their game up, I might care more about them in the future. Still dislike the NBA on the whole, though.

You guys are just jelly of soccer fans' scarves. I can see right through it.

But seriously, that's one of the biggest thing that bothers me about soccer here in the U.S.... the fans try so hard to be European with their unoriginal forced chants and taking scarves to a match of a soccer league that plays during the summer.

Yeah. I did. Wasn't that informative for stuff we didn't already know. The time was pretty split over the 4 teams (Canes, Preds, Lightning, Panthers) so we only got about 6-7 minutes of Canes content.

The only mystery it solved for me was figuring who of the top 4 was not in our top 4. That player turned out to be Drouin, no real surprise there.

Also had some audio on the draft floor. The included portions of him talking with Edmonton about swapping to 7th and saying no to trading the pick outright. No real tidbits of what would have been moved in a swap. Also, I'm pretty sure when they decided to make the pick Jimmy turned to Ron Francis and said well I guess you're getting your guy (or something like that).

Gotcha... and yeah no surprise that Drouin was the guy not in our top 4 given what we had and needed in our system. I honestly wonder where they had Nichushkin ranked on the board, wouldn't be at all surprised if it was #6 or 7 behind Drouin, and/or Monahan.
