Anti vaccine or vaccine hesitant? Maybe you can find some literature that she can read?

Anti-vaxxer. Even travels outside her own city to attend protests with my brother :help:

I’d have told anyone else behaving like them that they were f***ing idiots but I’ve kept relatively quiet and civil for the past year and a half. My patience is nearly gone, though.

Sup homies, this seems like a pretty generic thread so I'm going to throw this here. I have decided that I will be jumping on the Canes band wagon when the Flyers crash and burn, which I figure should be sometime in late Oct. I look forward to getting to know you all and look forward to watching hockey games where the coach is aware that you are allowed to make forward passes.

and non of that geno's or pat's tourist shit - bring the real stuff from a place full of locals.

I'm not expert on cheese steaks and I haven't been to Philly in ages, but I lived just outside of Philly for a couple of years (King of Prussia) when I worked out there back in the mid-late 80s. IIRC, all the guys I worked with use to go to a place called Jim's on South Street. I thought they tasted good, but like I said, I'm not an expert on them. Seemed like it was cheez wiz on steak, peppers and onions.

I lived in Philly for a little while. Never liked the idea of putting cheese on a steak. I kept my thoughts well guarded while I was there as I didn't want to get shot for having that opinion.

I have/ had to go to Fort Dix a lot and philly is the closest airport. I usually get two cheesesteaks every flight in and one on the way out. 8 weeks ago was the first time I went to Jim’s. It was good. I don’t remember it being any better than others though. My favorite is John’s roasted pork. The cheesesteaks are good and the roasted pork is really good.

RIP. You were a great car until the last year and a half. Then you became more hassle than you were worth. But still sad to see you go out like this.

Hopefully the next car has better gas mileage.

I have a couple of guesses as to why the mileage wasn’t so great.

Sad part is that I just spent $1k getting the brakes replaced about a month ago. Money down the toilet.

Ouch! Hope you and whoever else was in the car at the time is ok.

Just me, and I'm sore as hell, but otherwise (somehow) OK. Got a follow up appointment with the doctor on Tuesday just to be sure though.

It was my own fault. Didn't know the roads as well as I thought I did. MLK Blvd has a long string of 4-way intersections eventually ending in a T intersection. Well, I drove through that T like it was a 4-way, hit a ditch, flipped the car and landed in the woods.

Glad to hear pride is the worst casualty. I hope you feel better soon.
