Only 25s, didn't know i could take 50

You can take 100mg (max 200mg in 24 hours). The tablets come in 25, 50, and 100mg. Given your recent less than perfect results I'd definitely look into going with a 50mg initial dose. The package insert says:

"Doses of 50mg and 100mg may provide a greater effect than the 25mg dose but doses of 100mg may not provide a greater effect than the 50mg dose."

Also:

"If the migraine has not resolved by 2 hours after taking sumatriptan tablets, or returns after a transient improvement, a second dose may be administered at least 2 hours after the first dose." (max dosage is 200mg in 24 hours)

50mg is my standard dosage fwiw (which isn't all that much given that everyone is different). Occasionally I may need a second dose the next day if I start to get that hangover feeling, but not that often.

Always; thanks for the reminder. And since they note that there may not be a general increase in efficacy with 100 over 50, seems like going that route would be the exception.
