I agree with some of that... but knowing who didn't pick up their guy and why a guy was open is not as simple as you are making it out to be.

If the system calls for specific rotations and someone doesn't rotate, it starts breaking down there, not when you notice someone open and assume that the closest guy was supposed to be on him.

Marner missed his assignment on the SHG there. He's the back man and simply didn't work hard enough. It's not Jarn or Brodie, that's a 2on2 if he hustles but he doesn't

That's true but if those people stink at finding good players or knowing how to properly deploy players, that again falls on Shanny because he's the one who signed off on giving these guys those positions.

Okay, and if he consistently does that, he should be benched or at least taken off the PK...

Kampf was benched according to Keefe, for doing this consistently and in crucial times, not for one play like people are making it sound like.
