Whenever Weber isn't on the ice it's a jumble on the back end tonight. Forwards ain't helping either. Far too many careless plays and difficulty clearing the zone. Meanwhile they haven't had the puck on their sticks much so far in this period while very few of their shots are even getting through. Sleepy sleepy right now. We were way hotter against Ottawa that's for sure. Habs have had all these home games early on so maybe it's malaise settling in. Well they'll get their heavy diet of travel soon enough if that's what the problem is.

Makes sense. Therrien used this tactic to eventually suck the potential out of Tinordi too. At least Pateryn isn't a former 1st round pick but feels like he'll need an injury to get more guaranteed ice time or a change of scenery to crack a D corps more permanently.
