I’m like 1% offended Henrik Craine isn’t a poll choice after we went from 2 goals in 3 games and unable to score, let alone win, in Carolina to a 6 goal shit kicking within a day of his birth, but it was a fun father-son experience nonetheless. Literally sat in my lap the whole game, mostly sleeping, occasionally fussing for a minute before going back to calm. Such a cool feeling to win a big game 7 literally as my first day as a father with him.

Was wondering if he enjoyed that game!!!!!

So, aside from 4 games against a Panthers team many people felt might be a paper tiger, Tampa struggled to get past Toronto (who wouldn’t have scared me) and I honestly don’t think I felt like I was scared of Tampa before the playoff started. Sure, they’ve proven they’re still not to be taken lightly, but I was WAY more scared of Carolina coming into the playoffs than I am of Tampa.

Personally? I think the Rangers are making it to the SCF.

I would love if that were true. But Kovalev was electric throughout the playoffs. Legit gamebreaker. He was so good NYR was rumored to have turned down a trade offers of Selanne after that playoffs.

Eh, Tampa is still the back-to-back cup champs for a reason. Plus, Vasi is probably the only goalie that can match Igor, especially in the playoffs

Won't be an easy series, but I think the Rangers will and should hopefully be competitive.

That said, I do think the Rangers' run ends here, and if it does - what a season. Way exceeded expectations.
