So, do you write poetry with that blaring in the background? .....

Honestly no... there's no way. I need quiet time, usually as soon as I wake up. A nice cup of coffee, toast and jam, up before the rest of the house, sitting at the kitchen table, typing it soon after the GDT is up. Edit, post, edit again, race to work is the algorithm.:thumbu:

15- 20 min maximum investment time.

Humour thread material:

This application of a a beagle scratching its hindquarters always brings a smile.

And the wife gets up looks at you and asks WTH are you doing right now? You turn and say writing poetry on a Winnipeg Jets hockey board. She then pours herself a cup of coffee laughing like this.

Certes, the whole fam is well aware of my routine poetic injustices. They do make lots of fun of this of course (LOTS ha ha), but lately have just been accepting, and carry on. I have a massive analogue Shakespeare "complete works" book that I access. I had this out for the Colorado game and my daughter casually commented that "perhaps Dad, you're thinking hockey?"

Oh yes.

My spouse doesn't even raise an eyebrow at this point. :DD:eek::laugh:
