Don't f*** with a man's animals

Thermal is the shit. Nice NVG is too.

What's the rifle? We talking 22LR bolt?

Or a 5.56 / 300BO /6.5 creedmor AR with a can and mags? The weapon matters. Assuming MY choice of rilfle and not a bolt? Then yes skilled dude with rifle. - my second would be rats to cause shit piles of confusion while the hunter picks of the targets easily. If not the rats, then the hawks for same because flying opponents are neigh invincible in this scenario have them dive bomb and distract while the shooter clears targets.

Rifleman and one Buffalo ought to do it. Maybe. Probably f***ed one way or another anyway.

My one absolute is choosing the 10,000 rats to defend me. They'd be able to almost immediately neutralize and kill anything else on the list except the hawks and maybe the crocs. Those little bastards can chew through brick and wire; imagine hundreds of them absolutely swarming almost everything else on the list, covering faces and taking chunks out of every part of the body. I'm thinking land piranha.

I can see where the skilled dude with Borsig's weaponry could be very effective against most of the list, but even with that heavy firepower isn't he going to be taken out in seconds if swarmed by hundreds of rats? I'm thinking the relevant question in that scenario is whether or not he can shoot you before he goes down from the rat attack. Maybe take the rats and buffalo (I'm assuming cape buffalo) and have the buffalo form a tight ring for protection with you in the middle? While the rats go to town on almost everything else. You'd have to protect yourself against the hawks, but they're relatively fragile so you might have a chance at disabling them as they dive in.

Personally, I don’t see a winning line in that scenario.

10,000 rats seems like the obvious choice for one. Given enough time, they’ll wipe the floor with any of the other competitors (outside of the hawks). HOWEVER, you don’t have unlimited time. You have maybe 30 seconds before one of those animals is going to be on you. And 1 of any of those things (outside of the hawks) will be enough to kill you, let alone multiple number of those animals.

Multiple ones will also kill the Hunter with a rifle. They may be able to kill a few, but they’re not dealing with 15 wolves, 7 Buffalo, 3 bears, etc all attacking at once. No shot, regardless of the gun. HOWEVER, in that same vein, having the Hunter on the side that’s attacking you is also likely instant death for you. You’ll be focused on the animals attacking you, leaving them all the opportunity in the world to kill you.

Finally, we have the hawk problem. 15 hawks attacking you will likely kill you within an hour. The Hunter is the only choice that has any capacity to attack the hawks in the air. But, the hawks also have no ability to protect you from any of the other animals. So you can’t have them on your side and expect to survive, nor can you have them on the opposite side and expect to survive.

The best case scenario that I can come up with is choosing the crocodiles and the bears to be on your side and then retreating into the water. None of the other choices are nearly as effective in the water, and if you stay low and protected by your animals, you can avoid the Hunter shots and the hawks. Maybe replace the bears with the buffalo, depending on the species of each.

The questions that needs answering before you make the choices are: do the animals behave like they would behave or are they now some blind killing machines, and what is the terrain and location of the combatants in that terrain at the start of this?

I assumed they’d be trained on attacking/defending you, because if we expect them to behave like they normally would, your choice should be the Hunter and nothing else. Because the other animals would either run/fly away from the situation or focus on attacking each other more than they’d focus on attacking you. So then it’s a matter of you and the Hunter finding a place to hunker down and wait until the situation becomes more manageable. And even then, a well-placed shot might frighten off any potential attackers that remain.

And, this is in the small section that is open.

I miss being on the Parkway and on the trails so much especially Sunday mornings when I'd have the place to myself for miles sometimes.

My most favorite drive, Hwy 80 "The Devil's Whip," is likely gone for years. Such fun hairpin curves in beautiful scenery near Mt. Mitchell/Marion and Burnsville.

I feel so for the folks in CA.

Sigh

Looks like the TikTokkers, in an effort to avoid being impacted by the government shutting down an app that they suspect is being data harvested by the Chinese, have settled on migrating over to an app that is openly being run by the Chinese government.

🤦‍♂️

Lets be reality (lol), it will be more freezing rain
Let’s hope not , that’s a lot of ice. As always depends on where the low tracks . The warm nose will be there for sure. Still at range but lots of agreement something frozen is going to happen and a fare amount.

Mr Beast is attempting to buy it, Musk could place competition by bringing back Vines.

Looks like we may have a real chance at snow in Raleigh this time.
Much more believable set up for next week . Ensembles across the models looking good.

Bread and milk will be scarce.
When?

The 10 day forecast doesn't look like it's going to get cold enough, nor have any precipitation
