hronek would be a great add but i’d leave EP40 where he’s at .
I would give him a go
At worst, he can get 50 points, maybe?

I'd do that for sure. Having 5 picks in the first 33 would jumpstart the rebuild pretty well.#16 + #18 for Hronek to the Caps.
Factor in Hronek is at $7.3 mill cap hit vs the $9.5 mill for Dobson as well. 2 year draft difference with Hronek a late bday for his draft.Probably I’d start as two data points what he was originally traded for and what similar players have traded for. Detroit sold on Hronek after a career year for a protected 1st and a 2nd, maybe as a floor? Dobson was Heineman and 2 mid firsts? Not sure how you comp the two.
Hronek since then is little bit older and more mature as a defenseman, so that makes it a little harder to gauge as he’s squarely in his prime. There’s also the premium of an RHD, and his contract is pretty good. He’s lost some shine since Hughes left but he hasn’t exactly had ideal partners either. So I’d say maybe like a first and a good young roster player or a more futures heavy package around 2 mid 1sts and some change ?
It changes depending on the club you target, ex: in division or maybe they’re flush with guys and you can get a little more. Do you have any ideas in mind?
3 year age difference, remember Dobson was traded last year.Factor in Hronek is at $7.3 mill cap hit vs the $9.5 mill for Dobson as well. 2 year draft difference with Hronek a late bday for his draft.
Yeah I’m not sure how to gauge it since there’s points weighing things +/- for Hronek, just thinking that’s the initial spread. It’s probably better for Vancouver at this point to sell Hronek and find a guy who will bury somebody if they cross check one of the kids in the neck. But a team will have to make it their while.Factor in Hronek is at $7.3 mill cap hit vs the $9.5 mill for Dobson as well. 2 year draft difference with Hronek a late bday for his draft.
Might as well toss Gally in there and I’d also add CarrierIf I'm the Habs I jump on this
2x 1sts
2x 2nds
Dach
Struble
Pick the years
9-11.6 million for that . newhook can get that for us until hage is ready and won’t cost us an asset or wasted cap space . EP40 will be useless in the playoffs . kapanen had better 5-5 numbers .I would give him a go

there’s definitely a deal to be made here for sure . i’d do a 26-1st , 27-2nd, engstrom , carrier and gallagher 50% retained . carrier can be moved again for another asset at the deadline .Might as well toss Gally in there and I’d also add Carrier
used to have a cannonball until wrist injuries set in . same with his skating and his knees . pretty risky when he’s not likely to be a factor when it matters most . (playoffs). that’s a lot of cap even with 2.6 million retained that vancouvers owners said will not happen . that’ll be exactly 10 % of our cap for a second line center with a lot of red flags . ( if no retention)In this scenario, EP40 would fed and be fed by Demidov, and wouldn't play against the opponent's top unit (that would be Suzuki's line)
EP40 also has a f***ing canonball of a shot, which could help our second PP unit, which it needs
Well this is flat out wrong, did you watch him at all this year he was our only really good and consistent dman, the team was garbage he wasn't.I think I'm still confused as to the idea that "he has really developed" since leaving detroit has come from?
he was a top pairing guy in detroit, with very similar numbers.
His on ice results stapled to Quinn Hughes were better sure, but those came crashing right back down after Hughes left.
His most impressive and productive year is still probably 22-23 in detroit
Would the Flyers actually do that?Flyers do really need a good offensive defenseman. So what about Michkov for Hronek, I wonder.
Would the Flyers actually do that?
That's a pretty decent offer. Montreal could offer #28 + Reinbacher. Wonder which Vancouver would prefer?#16 + #18 for Hronek to the Caps.
His detroit year is his most points per game, most goals per game, best on ice goals share, best on ice expected goals share (outside of with quinn hughes).Well this is flat out wrong, did you watch him at all this year he was our only really good and consistent dman, the team was garbage he wasn't.
His best year was 23/24 as well. Also in Detroit the fans all complained that he had to be sheltered and that he wasn't dependable unless he had a solid defensive dman on his paring, he has proven both when QH was injured and this year when QH left that he could.
but i’ve been wrong before to and you could be right . i just think better options will come along in the next 12-18 months .In this scenario, EP40 would fed and be fed by Demidov, and wouldn't play against the opponent's top unit (that would be Suzuki's line)

I'm just trying to figure out how it is that you joined this week and "Canuck Fan" was still available as a user name.Hi Guys, I joined here to get fresh perspective from opposing teams............
Can you guys give me a current value for Hronek to a rebuilding team, like the Canucks please
His cost to the Canucks was a 1st (17th OA) and a 2nd (42 OA), before he had really developed
I rank him as a 1 pairing RHD Dman, who would rank about the middle (16) of the top 32 RHD
What do you guys think?
