Because it is such a certainty that Canada beats Finland? The H2H record is 2:2 for the best-on-best Olympics, the goal difference is 7:6 in favor of Finland.
 
This Giroux talk reminds of the time I had to educate another poster about how Phaneuf was not from Quebec and was Albertan born and raised.

By the way people from Quebec are not "French", "French" is someone from France. People born in Quebec are Canadian whether they like it or not.
