Being here in the States, being a Habs fan became a little more complicated since I dumped Comcast cable TV last spring. We now stream live TV via YouTube TV, so I lost access to Bally Sports Detroit and the NHL Network. During the hockey regular season, I subscribe to ESPN+ for $10 per month, which gets me most of the Habs games. However, games that are available locally are blacked out, so now without Bally and NHL Network I lose the games versus the Red Wings and the occasional game that is on the NHL Network (these were usually Saturday night games that may be on CBC). If they show up on regular ESPN or TNT, I have that covered through YouTube TV.
Not sure if this is considered illegal, so I apologize, but..

If you have a VPN, switch your VPN to Canada and you should be able to watch Saturday night games from cbc.ca unless they changed that.

No more Center Ice in Canada, it's all SN branded. Every game is available, as long as you don't want to watch the games that are regionally broadcasted in that teams territory. IE, since I am in the Habs territory here in NB, I can watch every every game in the NHL, except the ones that are against the Habs on TSN.

Also, before TVA split the regional French broadcasts, you could get a special French only Centre Ice package that would let you watch al the Habs games, but that no longer exists.
It was even better than that. When RDS held the regional and national French language rights they were able to broadcast every game nationally, which was awesome for a BC habs fan like myself who didn't care that he couldn't understand the commentary.
