Might as well see how rest of Top Brass fares.... Jacobs has 107 votes so far. More than half gave him "Don't like him or think he's very good" or "Really dislike him. Would prefer we have another owner".

Let's see how Cam fares.

I'll give him a 4.5

I don't think he is very good in his role, and would like to see him replaced.

The thread already devoted to Neely should give you a good idea

 That's my guess as well.

However, I will say the Jacobs more positive/ambivalent votes surprised me a bit.

1(Excellent) - 2.8%
2 (Good) - 10%
3 (Average) - 29%
4 (Don't like. Not very good) - 14%
5 (Really dislike) - 44%

Wonder what Neely actual votes will look like.

me too but not just by a warm body. I want someone who`s paid their dues and truly understands all aspects of this position, I`m not one bit convinced Cam is that guy

Agreed, I want someone who has a vision for where the entire organization is headed, and solid understanding of where the NHL game is moving towards, a solid understanding of the rules/principles of how to build a team that can be competitive year-in, year-out, in a cap system, and the leadership and communication skills to build a great culture within the organization from top-to-bottom.

Not sure how or if possible but I`ve been hammering the Dale Tallon drum for a while now.

That's a good suggestion, like you said not sure how it is possible.

Another name someone through out there awhile back, as it appears he might of hit a glass-ceiling with McDonough as President, is Stan Bowman.

Could he be convinced to move for what would essentially be a promotion? Would this even be allowed I have no idea.

I like Cam, and I like having him around the team, but IMHO he's not qualified to be a President or GM or any other position of power and authority. Said as much when he was hired.

I don't love Sweeney either, but at least he has trained for this. He spent years working his way up.

The guy is completely over his skis in this role and it's hurting the long term strategy and direction of this team. Clean him out and get someone in there that's actually suited to the role.

I line that he's part of the organization but don't think president is the correct role. I would like to see him I'm done kind of PR role maybe as a brand ambassador.

I wish there was a "Never liked the promotion, felt it was a PR move (after the debacle in the Philly series) to satisfy an angry fanbase" option.

Because even when things were going well for the team, I felt he was a cheerleader/mascot more than an actual President that did actual presidential things.

Lets keep in mind, JJ is the one who hired Cam as president, so if people aren't happy with Cam's 'contribution' - it's on the owner.

no clue, I think with Tallon, that organization is even more of a circus than this one. I`m not sure Tallon even knows what his actual title is these days. I "think" he was given an extension last year but don`t quote me on that.

"I wasn't a big fan of doing contracts," Tallon said. "This frees me up to do the things I think I do best. I like going to rinks and freezing my rear end off."

http://www.thehockeynews.com/news/a...rom-dale-tallon-but-dont-worry-hes-ok-with-it

Can you imagine hearing and seeing your team President pounding the pavement on the road actually watching, possibly scouting opponents who has a keen eye for talent?

I don`t think Tallon is quite as enthusiastic about his job in Florida as this article may appear and I sure don`t know what it would take to pull him away from that mess and into ours:)

Wow...... Neely not faring well here so far.

That's shame but I get it. Great player, great person off ice, not a great President. Only Boston Bruins management can put their hero's into a position where they fail so bad the fans turn on them.

Makes me despise Jacobs even more....

He needs to be on the business side and not the hockey operations side.

I`m not so sure he`s even qualified for the business side Wally and as long as he`s there, his ego won`t allow him to not meddle in from all I`ve read about how things seemingly work within this organization
