Has he spent the summer in the gym or instagram modelling?

Dude has to decide if he wants to be RNH or Zetterberg. Put some meat on those bones and he could be a fantastic NHL center.

He's been modelling pics of himself at the gym... we will see.

Actually I think he is as good as either Sedin, but not as good as both of them with him paired with anyone this team. However I think kuzmenko and podman with him could be close to as good a line as there is in couple of years. (This is of course dependent on Kuzmenko maxing out on his potential.)

100 points.
Congratulations. You have won the free swamp cooler, narrowly beating out myself who guessed 99 points. You guessed 100 points and Pettersson finished with 102. Terms and conditions on how to collect your free swamp cooler are listed in post #1.

that's super disrespectful to any Canucks fan who watched the sedins.

Bobby, I loved the Sedins and still do. They were two of the classiest and most talented players to ever lace up skates for NHL ice. However, Petey is also a very special player, and if early observations about his character are accurate, he's also a quality human being. It's very difficult to compare the Sedins to any single player because their reality as twin brothers was so unique.

Just my opinion. I mean no disrespect towards you whatsoever, but I don't think he was disrespecting the twins. All three of these players are of immense talent and character.

Since I have no need for a swamp cooler (in fact I have no idea why one would want to cool a swamp) please donate said cooler to needy saddened Canuck fans who are suffering.

Just for fun we finished our geezer hockey season 2 weeks ago, and for even more fun one of the guys had a heart attack on the bench. Ruined 25 minutes of our last hockey game. (He's fine, had a stent put in that night).

Early predication for next year. Pettersson 114 pts. Canucks 101 pts. Kuzmenko has a monster year. My wife encourages me to consider euthanasia.

Just a note about the Sedin remarks. They were special players. My dad passed in 2004 (major fan, had season tickets the whole time ... that is 1970 till the day he died). anyhow he said, these guys will be stars. (this is when a number of asses on here were suggesting trading them for a bag of pucks),

I am sorry he did not get a chance to see Pettersson. I think he is going to rewrite the Canucks record books. Hope he decides to stay, even with the Moron of the Year owner.

Will do.

And I don't think your predictions are unrealistic. Besides, you were damn close the first time around.

My dad died in June 2008 and never got to see the Canucks or Sedins win the cup. I flew into Vancouver and got us the best seats in the house and took him to his last Canucks game shortly after the Sedins joined the team. I hope I don't follow him to the grave without seeing one cup, but sometimes I think that could be likely.

Been a die hard fan since 1970, I am getting up there, and hope they take us to the promised land before I croak. Assuming I make it to about my dad's age when he passed, they have 15 years to get off their asses and produce.

I was a kid in 1970. Been a fan throughout the team's entire history.
