How many point per game seasons does Sid have left in him?

He lost his speed a while ago so he's maintaining 90+ points purely with his hockey iq. When his hands and mind start to go, he'll decline. I'll say 2 more seasons. If he decides to play into his 40s we'll likely see a sub ppg Crosby.

He still has top end speed. The acceleration however is gone

He is 37, not 67. He most likely hasn't lost anything especially with his work ethic. Pretty sure he actively does strength training too. Might be just him developing a different style/priorities etc.

Its not long since we saw him beating 22 year old Faber in a race towards Minnesotas end. Faber evem gpt a head start. Seems pretty fast dont you think?

He's pretty clearly lost a step. He can still get moving pretty decently if he gets a chance to build up speed like he does there, and it helps that Faber was caught having to turn and retrieve it while Sid was already angled in that direction to start. He does not have the burst to separate through the neutral zone and across the blue line with the puck on his stick like he could in his 20's. You won't see him doing anything like this anymore.

I believed he dropped some weight in the off-season to get faster about 4-5 years ago, then decided it wasn't what he lost in strength, so he put it back on.

He's definitely not as fast as he was even 5 years ago, never mind in his 20s, but part of the magic of Sid is that doesn't seem to matter.

Watch a video of crosby when he was 19-26. Big difference in speed

When its all said and done, Ovechkin will be remembered for a long long time. Sid the Kid will be an afterthought.
HFBoards is crazy. Any other hockey forum, you never see posts like this. Ovechkin is a dictators pet and Crosby is one of the 5 best players of all time.

like literally the only place on the internet “people” have such an opinion is HFBoards.

Anyhow, what even makes someone think it’s necessary to post this? It’s not a comparison thread. Hell, it’s not even really a “tout Crosby” thread. Someone asked a question about Crosby and we still gotta hear about ovenchicken.
