after what Malkin showed in this tournament (i know it is pre-season but just talking about this tournament) you would really replace him for any of the canadian forward? Can´t believe...

Welcome to HF. 90% of posters here truly believe that to win a hockey game you need to "score" assists instead of goals.
So they don't care if say team A had 6 goals/zero assists and team B had 4 goals/8 assists after the game. They would sum up 4 goals + 8 assists of team B players. Then compare these 12 points with only 6 points of team A. Then, they make typical HF conclusion: "team B players are twice better than team A players, cause 12 is twice bigger than 6".
Then, they apply the same logic for the player-to-player comparison. So you should not be surprised that here on HFboards the player who scored 21 goals in 24 games can't make the roster.
