Posted this elsewhere but what’s really impressive about his season is that he has no empty netters.

In fact he doesn’t have a single EN goal in his career.
The no EN goal stat is crazy! I guess he isn't out often defending close games but I still figured he'd have had one by now. It's different than Pacioretty who seemed to get a lot of ENs in his high scoring years.

MSL never puts him out there. He also never uses him to kill penalties.

Personally I think that’s a mistake but whatever…

Last year his shot was nonexistent but his overall game was good. This year his shot is back and he's improved his overall game even more. Seeing him finish checks on giraffes like Myers, and coming back to the slot to disrupt Pettersson from getting a clean shot is encouraging.

I don't ever want to hear how he and Suzuki have "no chemistry". They can find each other so easily with no room.
