How many first round picks will Jets have at 2023 draft?

I am optimistic that Chevy has painted himself into a corner, which is the position from which he seems to do his best work. I expect no less than 2. Three would only happen if no team has a plug available without trade protection.

Hah no, He was going from Canada Life Ctr to the food court to pick up lunch i'm sure. Bit surprised he goes himself. I know he's not a celebrity or anything, but would have assumed they have an assistant or someone to pick up lunch.
Guy is in the middle of a trade call, and is like "hey can I call you back I gotta limp over to Manchu Wok and get some Ginger Beef while its still fresh"

I used to see Chevy walk to Portage Place food court for lunch. At least once each summer.
I didn't realize he was so brave. Good for him.

Hopefully we trade him to Nashville for Cody Glass and their 1st.
I will be interesting if Helly and Scheifele can get traded prior to the draft with a "promise to extend" between their agent and their new team. In the past, this was handled by contingent draft compensation, but that doesn't seem to be available any more.

I voted 3. I’m going to assume we keep our own and 2 of Scheifele, PLD, and Helle are dealt with 2023 1st rounders coming back.
As much as I'd love to see PLD, Helle and Scheif all moved in time to have 23 picks... my intuition is packages with 24 1st instead will likely be better value.
I bet we have two, but if we only have one and Dubois brings back a NHL ready guy that's fine too

I see Dubois going this week. Early. LA i think is likely. No 23 1st. Jets troll so Tuesday probably. Wheels bought out and helle going to Pitt at draft and maybe 55 to Detroit at draft

The assistant who would have gotten him his lunch also said he wouldn't resign so he was moved during the playoffs. Bettman wasn't happy the Jets traded during the playoffs so took our 1st rounder away and gave it to Toronto. So my answer is zero.

Retirement upsides: Don't have to take time off work to watch draft. Don't have to go to Costco on a weekend.
Retirement downsides: Boredom, parts don't work, closer to death,... OK, pretty much everything else.
Did one better, took the entire week off. Draft and Free Agent Frenzy, gotta love it...
Voted 1. We won't get one in the Dubois trade, assuming it's to LA. Also, could totally see Helly not moving until the deadline and Scheifele being held here against his will until retirement just to fulfill the statue prophecy.
