Agreed. Harley has that "I want to be the guy" factor that Miro doesn't have offensively. Miro is very passive in that area. Harley's shot is also significantly better so there's that too

Two more goals today for Harley including the OT game winner, another game logging more than 25 minutes, almost 3 minutes more than any other Stars blueliner, two days after putting in over 31 minutes versus Tampa.

This guy is a superstar. He’s been Norris-conversation level force this calendar year and while his full season stats won’t stack up and doubters will say “it’s only half a season” - the truth is there is his development has been a slow and gradual ramp up at every level and there is zero he is doing now that should come as a surprise. This isn’t a guy doing a crazy one hit wonder streak…it’s the methodical evolution of one of the most impactful defensemen in the NHL.

I still think Miro is the better player but Harley is clearly better offensively because he has a better shot and has the more aggressive mindset when attacking. Miro is still significantly better defensively and his zone exits/entries are elite. This team is really missing Miro on the back end to clean up all the mistakes.

Having two legit #1dman is a nice problem to have. Especially when you are also icing four guys who are probably better served on the bottom pair. Esa is a legit #3 and maybe the best PKer in the league but the other guys are probably best served playing in that 5-6 role. Dumba is better served sitting in the press box.

Hopefully when Miro returns he will only played limited pp2 minutes while Harley stays on pp1. This will help save Miro's legs because he plays such high minutes 5 on 5.

Yeah, Miros shot suppression is dearly missed right now, even playing on his off side.
