How can a vegan drink water?

I think he's saying that he would not switch his own upbringing, with yours.

Perhaps he thinks you were brainwashed as a child by some militant vegan parents, I don't know.
Oh.

My parents aren't vegan at all nor was I vegan as a child. I adopted a vegan lifestyle when I was 25.

Humans don't rape the animals in agriculture you idiot

The animals rape each other

Animals are dicks
I feel like if I posted a picture of a human shoving their arm up a cow's vagina I would get in trouble. So maybe just Google it for yourself or something?

Uh, vets do that.

Experienced farmers would do it as well, especially if a baby calf has breached. Nothing out of the ordinary....well, not for them, anyways.

I know I'd never attempt it.

Not rape by definition in common law, has to be with the penis.

It's sexual assault by penetration, you've just called it rape to make it sound worse to further your agenda.

What does this even mean?

That I would hate to have your childhood...

My sister was going to be a vegetarian once...until she figured out that she had to eat vegetables.

I honestly don't see how being a vegan can actually be good for you tbh...how can you live your life without the joy that is chicken wings or steak or burgers or tacos

I still don't get the rape of the planet thing, nor the explanation it being of someone arm deep in a cow's hoo-hah .

If I'm not mistaken, the only way to rape the planet is to dig a hole in the ground, and then hump the hole without getting consent from the planet.

I'm not sure what that has to do with veganism or normal person diet, but it's a stupid term to use in any sense when you're trying to make a point about the harms a meat diet has on the planet. Let's not trivialize the term rape, ok? It's about the worst thing that can happen to a person, so for the love of God, find a different term.

Who here is talking about "raping the planet"? We're most definitely talking about raping animals.

I have this friend who was a vegetarian and that's fine and all, I don't give a **** and I like her freedom to choose but it annoys me now how she's started going 'vegan' when it comes to cake or bread or mayo or milk or something and then actively repeated it to me despite knowing that I'm not a vegan. If you wanna go out and look for vegan pasta then quietly go for it but don't share that with me as if you've discovered something better, it's so bothersome. I actively avoid bragging about chicken or bbq or meat or something with her or the urge to say 'yeah if you put some seasoned chicken in that then it wouldn't taste ****' so I don't wanna know about the virtues of soy milk instead of regular.

I'm not a vegan but if you can't see how the vegan diet is the most logical diet a human can have I seriously question your intelligence. Put your bias aside and see it for what it is.

There's ample science showing how a vegan diet is perfectly healthy and sustainable (try not to listen to nitwits like Joe Rogan on this subject). You cannot justify killing animals when you can be perfectly healthy eating foods that do not require killing. Throw in the environmental disaster that factory farming causes and it's pretty much a slam dunk argument.

Again I'm not a vegan, but I have serious respect for you vegans.

Microorganisms are destroyed so that you can have the luxury of drinking water.

When you're ill with a bacterial infection, please think of those poor bacteria.

That why little children are recommended against eating vegan diets?
