How sad that we had to wait 8 years for the eastern conference to turn crappy so we could compete.

It’s not sad, you just have to be relatively better than everyone else.

How can anyone look at the Eastern conference and not want the Leafs to sell everything that isn't nailed down to improve their team? This is nuts. When are they ever going to get a more favourable situation than this season?

Reminds me of what was written when the Leafs ended 1st in the North division. That was what a favourable situation looks like more than what they have right now.

"The Maple Leafs are the biggest favorite on the odds to win the Stanley Cup coming out of the North Division going off at +600 "
