Word is Waddell is resigning himHe's an UFA, I'm curious what his next contract will be, and how HFB posters will view it.

Just as long as he didn't fight Lucic. Looch beat him a couple times. Most informed fans (who track fighters) have considered him #1 for awhile now
Lucic KO'd McDermid in Looch's last ever scrap (and Reaves ducked Lucic too). Lucic went out as #1 with McD #2 at the time. Olivier has since gone to top dog status.Just as long as he didn't fight Lucic. Looch beat him a couple times.
Sounds like he's still defending his title outside of the rink.Until he retires, Lucic is the lineal heavyweight champ.
Ryan Lomberg pummeled him a few months back.
Not much of a hot take. Olivier is the heavyweight champ right now.
Reaves held up well in this one. It looked like Olivier could have knocked him down at several points but wanted a longer fight. Olivier has that ability to knock guys completely off balance with his overhand right hook, it's how most of his fights end. Reaves gave him a thanks, I wonder if that is normal for him or if they had some understanding there.
Max Domi is 5'8 and f***ed up big boys. He’s 6’2”, 210 pounds. Isn’t that kinda light for the best fighter in the league? Don’t get me wrong, I’ve thought him best for a while, more just impressed he does it without being 6’4” and 225+.
Probably around 4 mill a year. He's an UFA, I'm curious what his next contract will be, and how HFB posters will view it.

Reaves was itching to throw some hands, especially after Xhekaj ducked him in his last game.
So you're going with that narrative? Coolsies.
Okay maybe I'm crazy, but I don't think I've seen him lose a fight since he's come to Columbus. And it's not like he's taken on a bunch of nobodies. In almost every match up he's extremely outsized and holds his own or even has the edge.
He just took on Greaves..
He will knock market out.Not a hot take. If he hit the market this summer, watch out

Oh you must be thinking of the best powerplay goal scorer in the league, that's Laine. Ouch.Must be a Canadiens fan. Canadiens fans think everyone on their team is the best at everything.
I'd love him back in Nashville for all these reasons.Just an absolute beast, plays the game the right way. Tough as nails and can actually play hockey, great story of a guy who paid his dues and kept on improving to become a solid NHL player who any team would love to have.
Not only does he stand up for his linemates, he's apparently an essential glue guy in the locker room. Jenner and Guddy both being hurt left a huge leadership vacancy in the locker room. Waddell and Evason encouraged Jenner and Guddy to stick around the team while they recovered, but Olivier has stepped up and filled their roles even with them sticking around.Word is Waddell is resigning him
No. I don't get to watch every game and even still. I don't really consider fights where both guys are still standing to be won or lost by either guy, just that the fight was tilted one way or another. And just because a guy falls doesn't automatically loses.Do you mean since you've come to Columbus? Because he's certainly lost a few fights since he's been in Columbus. But yes, he is probably the belt holder right now.
See above. He might've been outpunched, but he took every hit, got a few of his own and stayed on his feet.. obviously I'm not an expert on fighting(I played goalie) but I've played hockey for going on 30 years and saw plenty of my own on the ice.He lost the fight against Deslauriers but you can't win them all he's a beast can't wait till the Habs sign him next summer
I’m not sure how else you would describe one fighter asking for a bout and the other declining.
He will knock market out.

Different era; don’t think either one killed penalties, played 4 on 4, or wore an AOlivier would stand no chance against a prime Laraque or Brashear.
