Shame we’ve never gotten a chance to draft a guy who could maybe be like Adam Fox.

Sometimes you eat the Bear, sometimes the Bear eats you.

Torts was happier with the team tonight than against Detroit.

And he's right, they played a solid game, but missed on too many opportunities, Brink gets a shot through Shesterkin's arm off the post, York fires high on a wide open top of the net, otherwise Shesterkin did his usual number against the Flyers.

Too many breakdowns leading to odd man rushes, but 2 goals were off deflections that were perfectly placed and another a point shot through a screen. This is what happens when you don't block long range wrist shots.

Couts line was bad, so was Seeler-Drysdale. Frost line was meh.
Cates line had another good game. York-Sanheim were fine.

Richard and Abols had a good showing, Abols isn't fast but he's big, smart and physical with good hands. Richard's speed and skill add a dimension. You can see why they play ahead of Lycksell, he wasn't bad but these two bring more to the table.

Your optimism is insane, you sound like you'd be happy if someone came in your house and robbed you, smiling "they need it more than i do" hehe!

That PP reminded me I meant to post this earlier. Brutal. From what I remember, this basically says your structure lacks creation. It’s all scrambles.

It’s funny I was thinking about this during the first power play… what other team has their entry guy play net front?

The Flyers use Frost as their primary entry guy, and he does decently well in that regard, but then they make him the net front guy most of the time. They want him to create space to gain the zone but once that happens they forget about him.

I swear, the usage and deployment of Frost over the last three years has been absolutely insane.
