Train to Busan was pretty good actually. Reminded me a lot of World War Z in several ways, though it is better than WWZ. Much better.

I would give Train to Busan a 6/10 and a recommendation for anyone wanting to watch a zombie flick. Definitely one of the better ones I've seen in recent memory.

By comparison, I would give WWZ a 2/10.

How were the zombies? The one's in WWZ were god awful with the flying around like fish and super speed and animal movements

They were also simply horrendous CGI

They reminded me of a cross WWZ zombies and these zombies, feel free to ignore the song and dance:

There was one scene where I felt they were pushing it near the tail end, but otherwise they were far more believable.

Why are they horrible if theyre not dumbed down and slower version of humans?

I don't think this is always the case: 28 Days Later got some critical acclaim with their faster zombies. WWZ's awful CGI was rightly panned in my honest opinion.

I don't have issue with fast zombies

Return of the Living Dead + Dawn of the Dead remake did it well

What I had issue with was the god awful CGI zombies with nonsensical movement in World War Z

Ive tried to watch Train to Busan but I cant find a stream in english...
Does it exist?

I kinda like it. Ive seen it awhile ago so my memory may be foggy, but that scene in israel where they pileup over the wall was nice.

Ordered these from DiabolikDVD.com last week.... :)

Can't wait to check out that German release of "Don't Go In The House" on blu-ray. Thank goodness for having a region free blu-ray player. ;)

James Rolfe did a review of Coffin Joe a few years back and I have wanted to watch those movies for a while now.

Check them out. I love em' :)

Edit: Hearing James Rolfe commentate on them was sweet. Although I was expecting him to go all AVGN (or film nerd in this case...heh) for a minute there..

Watched Rings...wasn't good.

a lot of Horror movies just love to end with some kind of scare or ominous ending eh  can never be a happy ending

My biggest pet peeve is when they bring the killer back to life and you know it's just to set up a second movie. I can see the supernatural killers being ok to bring back, but when it's supposedly just a regular guy that is something different. I can't think of the name of the movie but it is pretty rampant in b horror movies.

I watched The Windmill. I recommend you don't.

It has a decent enough premise, but something was just missing. The acting is OK, the production value pretty good and it's a decent nod to 80s horror but the characters just did annoying things. I can't even recommend it as "so bad it's good".

A24 has such an amazing track record that it's tough to not get excited for It Comes At Night. Wasn't all that interested in the trailer though TBH.

Anyone see Get Out? I enjoyed it but after watching it and thinking about what happened...my god the movie is so deep! Very well done, had some solid comedy chops as well. Solid thriller.

"He almost got over it" ... my god!! that line and its meaning is fantastic
