I think it's funny that "the mayor" is taking credit for calling this happening "months ago", when in October you'd ask him if DL is going to get fired because the lineup looks like a borderline playoff team (at best), he was LAUGHING at the thought. Setoguchi and Purcell were in the lineup and he was laughing at people saying this would probably be DL's last year when the Kings miss the playoffs. I lost all respect for Dennis Bernstein a LONG time ago (his idiotic "bromance over finance" coment after the Carter trade was it for me), I'm losing respect for "the mayor" now too.

A month ago he said DL would be replaced, and then a week ago he said it was likely he would stay on.

Makes it easy to say you were right when you say both things will happen.

I really do think that missing the playoffs this season will start the countdown clock to Dean's tenure.

With this payroll and team, that result is unacceptable, and those responsible have to be held accountable.
