Equipment: Hockey Pants or Girdle + Shell?

What does everyone here think/use? I've seen a lot of people say once you go Girdle with Shell shorts, you won't go back to the traditional pants. With the main benefit of girdle being a snugger fit for more comfort and mobility. Plus you can just change out the shell short for different color/team if you play on multple teams etc.

Love the flexibility/options of a girdle and shell
Plus with how close the girdle fits the protection is top notch . I find pants too often lack protection in areas like your tail bone .

girdle and shell. I switched about 5 years ago and I'll never go back for the reasons the post above stated.

Girdle and shell 1 million %! It's the best change I've made to my equipment stack. The difference is night and day... I'll never go back to traditional pants even though they "look" cooler.
