This game almost reminded me of the early season game against Colorado in 2022. The one we won 1-0.

I also had some flashbacks to the game around the same time against Columbus where we crushed them 7-2 or something and had 56 shots or something.

It wasn’t quite that good, but Utah isn’t nearly as bad as Columbus was at that point.

I have a feeling they get 2 tomorrow. Feels like things are really clicking at the moment. Positive signs all over the ice and didn’t need OT Saturday or today which is huge

Leafs are also good (because it's October). They smacked the Penguins, and may have lost to the Habs, but basically ran them off the ice.

Sometimes you're gonna lose to a top 5 team.

it's such a nice change of pace to get goalies that manage to do what they have to do.

I honestly wasn’t that afraid this game. I think Utah was due for a loss, if not just a game where they didn’t score 5 or 6 goals.

They’re a lot better than the team that finished in Arizona last year, so I was never as confident that they wouldn’t be a playoff team this year like I was last year.
