Man, people were calling for him to be benched, claiming he was a net negative on the ice.

He was playing nowhere near his potential, zero argument from me. But he was seriously injured last year and on a terribly coached team. And this year his line was still driving play (even before today).

It's just unwarranted.

great win at home, and in my honest opinion we were supposed to win this one even with Utahs hot start. if we want to start being a great team, we have to come into these games expecting to win. they seemed like they expected to win today.

Last year it felt like it took until our 5th to last game of the year.

First period wasn’t great. Kinda sloppy at times but their defensive play kept them afloat and allowed them to completely take over the game in the 2nd and 3rd. Loving the combo of skill and grit on this team
