Oh it's definitely a fake. But being the nice guy that I am I'm going to make you a one time offer......

I plan on selling but my main issue comes selling to somewhere not in the USA. The last time I did that (Nuge Ice /99), some guy from QC tried pulling a fast one (stated it never came but magically had the same card for sale) until his eBay inbox got blasted and he revoked his dispute with me. Magically appeared 2 days after the chaos started for him.
That's not a cross border issue, that's just a scammer. Can easily be done by a guy in the U.S too.

Man the product is so weak for being so expensive.

Yeah. It's basically hit a Bedard FWA or end up with $50 worth of cards. It's going for $5-600 CAD a box. So unless you hit big you are throwing a lot of money down the drain. I think it'll come down in price, but I wouldn't touch this stuff now.

The first big card I ever pulled was a Galchenyuk Rookie Overtime Auto /15. I sold it to a guy in Quebec (Alma) who also scammed me. Claimed he never got it. Magically, the card was for sale graded in the same small town in Quebec, from a different account though. I called the police, who were at the time unfamiliar with sports cards, who said it'd be difficult to do anything as they couldn't track the specific card, despite it being serial numbered /15. Looking back I should have pushed harder with the police and gotten in touch with the RCMP in Quebec.

To me it was only $90 and I let it go, but there are lots of kids in the hobby. We should do everything we can to take down the scammers.

I’m not the only person who’s had issues when making deals with people in the province of Quebec. They’re also known to be the absolute worst people to deal with on epacks.

I have sold a ton online untracked to Quebec (not hockey cards) and generally never have any more issues than with other provinces. I remember hearing this stereotype before hand so I was worried.

Maybe it's just a hockey card thing.

I’d rather just use comc

COMC is fine, but you generally get more for your cards selling yourself on eBay.

I know that COMC cross posts them to eBay but if I recall they inflated the BIN so you're inflating the price for your card twice to cover both COMC and eBay fees, and their shipping to Canada is expensive which deters buyers.

I can ship an eBay sale under $750 tracked to Canada or USA for $8 CAD. Anything cheap enough to justify the risk if going untracked can be shipped for $2 in Canada. If we are talking about a $20-$50 card, shipping for that cheap is a major competitive advantage.

Yeah...I think if you calculate all costs in, shipping yourself via eBay costs way more. Your time, effort and spent resources should calculate in. Compared to that, getting 90% with COMC and just spending 50 cents up front is better and on top of that, you can trade COMC money for other stuff and then get 100% value that way via trade, and just pay shipping if you choose to ship your traded for stuff to you.

Haven't bought any cards in years outside of my yearly order for retired player base cards.

Wish there was something that would let you buy packs which are a tier higher than OPC/Series 1-2/MVP. Like if I could just get a few packs of Artifacts, Black Diamond, Ice, Allure, etc instead of having to get a whole box or whatever.

That’s pretty much EPack. I don’t like loose packs because they are likely searched.

You know what, I went ahead and tried this, I know they give you a few free cards per day. I bought a cheap Allure one but I just didn't feel it, I can get a physical pack of Allure for less on eBay or maybe at a LCS, maybe if the prices on the e-Packs were cheaper but it's mostly $10+/pack.

Plus I don't really care about having a rookie card for some random NHLer, I think I'd rather just spend $5-10 on a patch card of Hull or Selanne or Roenick or some other legend or future legend like Kucherov or Rantanen from COMC than random parallels or whatever of random players from today.

Yeah, packs aren’t really a thing unless you have a trusted LCS and even then. COMC singles are best.
