Yeah, I've been also buying some physical cards from the local secondhand market. Non-Finn NHLers don't hold as much value here, so it's easy to get some great deals. :laugh:

it's a good point @Kcb12345 and not emphasized enough

i prefer being able to trade everything/not have cards cluttering up my house but epack is literally sport card slots

I also much prefer the ePack, just for ease of trade and storage. Don't know how it'll work if I'd ever want to "clear the bank" though

It's only $2-3 on ebay. COMC is bad to rely on alone cause from my experience if it's a less common card on COMC they might jack up the prices no matter the player.

In some cases I've noticed it's cheaper lol. Just best to use both and compare

I'm stoked, my account was locked out due to it being a live.ca email account and those got changed to live.com so I couldnt get the password reset. After about 6 months of discussing with support they changed my email so I can access my cards again! Huzzah!

Booo. Was thinking if it’s soon that I could hold off on buying “old” product. But if it’s a couple months away, I supposed I need to bite the bullet.

Yeah sucks how far away S1 likely is still from epack..wonder if they'll fast track it to epack in the same month as it's physical release. Probably not but would be nice

I've never opened platinum before, but it looks like a pretty fun open and I know a lot of people seem to like it. Might have to open a box or so

Yeah I have been intrigued by it for a while. Some good potential for sure! The physical boxes seems to jump up in price pretty quickly so ePack should be good value!
 
I grabbed got two boxes of Platinum on ePack just for some fun as I like trading for Stars players (+ Kopitar & Barkov as they are my fav players) and combining base cards. These aren't the best cards in the world, but what I've picked up so far (along with some Harley, Oettinger young guns):

What do yall think about this offer :sarcasm:

I'm tempted. JRob stuff is high right now obviously but Bedard TC stuff is pretty high as well. Value wise the JRob is probably technically worth more atm but this card of his was just going for $18-30 before his hot streak. The Bedard is on COMC for like $50 or something but recent ebay sales have been between 50-60...how low does TC stuff usually drop?

Just ordered a physical box of series 1 & 2. Wanted SPA but at $400 a box helll no. Have seen very, very few people get their money's worth at that price. Can't even pull regular young guns in it this year I don't think, so it's your 2 autos or bust for the most part, and most of the autos are garbage players.

Yall opened or hit anything of late? Haven't consistently active on epack in forever, but wanted to get back into physical collecting cause it's a loss less addicting lol

Idk why I even open boxes anymore lol. First ones I've opened in a few months and my best pull was an Eklund yg & a Zegras blue dazzler..out of 2 hobby boxes (one series 1 and one series 2)

Other ygs were Tomasino, Logan Thompson, Seider/Raymond checklist, York, Bernard-Docker, and a bunch of garbage ones. Series 1 & 2 are boring to break tbh idk why I didn't get for a more interesting product
 
Ya boxes are a bloodbath in all sports. Manufacturers increased prices way too much to justify opening stuff

I used to open a few physical boxes of each flagship release but now I'm strictly ePack for that stuff. At least I can trade my garbage cards for some sort of salvage value
