Yep, he didn't wanna do 2 McDavid autos tho so I took a Jack Hughes pride of the nation auto /49, Quinn Hughes credentials auto /199, and an Adam Fox SPx 3 color patch auto /35.

In total I probably figure I got about $200+ worth of extra stuff outside of the McDavid, however I definitely don't plan on keeping the Fox and Hughes stuff so we will see what I can flip em for.

Looking em up:

Q. Hughes seems like it's around $70-80 based on recent sold ones and current ones up for sale.

J. Hughes pride of a nation has a buy it now at $148, so it's probably around $100-120 atm maybe

Adam Fox patch is just "worn", not game worn, but it's autographed and only one I can currently find is bidding at $127 with 2 days left, but his stuff is pretty crazy right now so gonna try and move it quickly.

I plan on trading all of that though, not keeping it. Gonna try and keep the McDavid but also interested in what offers I can get for it.

Pretty happy with the return, but I mainly tried to make a deal work with him cause I reallyyy wanted the McDavid lol. Other cards aren't from very collectable brands I don't think but pretty nice looking still

Can't believe the guy added 3 cards to that for the JRob, but I did tell him to blow me away with an offer lol

I've kept up with this thread and it's cool to see the evolution of hockey card collecting. The internet really makes trading cards a breeze, vs the way we used to do it with the group of your closest friend just getting together and swapping after hockey practice. Yeah I'm oldish and times have changed.

I'm more into jersey collecting authentics and gamers these days, just picked up a Modano rookie today and a Demitra gamer from 96-97 on Sunday.

Sorry to sorta derail to jerseys but I picked up this team issued Stars Made in Canada blank. JRob or Hintz on it?

His gold parkhurst auto used to be like $5-10 and now the cheapest is $80 wtf

His cheapest auto in general is $46

Wasn't that long ago that someone traded me one of those for a few synergy inserts :sarcasm:

I got the gold parkhurst auto for scraps too. Have since traded the synergy base one tho

Someone offered me a 16x20 autographed Lafreniere photo /100 for the McDavid patch auto. What the hell even is that lmao I didn't accept it but they're like $600 on upper decks website why is that even a thing on epack

I was very intrigued by it until I discovered it was an actual image lol
 
Got a Dellandrea yg exclusives tonight in a trade

Need Oettinger and JRob now (not going after Kiviranta). Messaged a guy who had a JRob and he wanted $1100 worth of stuff, so yeah that's gonna have to wait lol.

Got offered this for my McDavid patch auto /25. This isn't numbered but it's from an achievement and is /10. Do I take it? Can't find anything on what it's value is...but would it be worth more than a game used patch auto (hard signed) /25?

I'd stay away from the Erie stuff. Won't sell for as much as your patch auto and the sticker is a big detractor.

Easier to move NHL stuff (I know your McDavid is a suit pic, but still) than minor league stuff.

So after a bunch of wheeling and dealing, the JRob auto /5 has officially gotten me this stuff so far (with very very few things being included outside of the original JRob deal):

I gave:
JRob synergy auto /5

So far what I have turned that into:

That's awesome- you'd never be able to trade at this scale in real life.

I really wish Topps or Panini had a similar platform for other cards. Back in the day, Topps had eTopps but it wasn't nearly as polished as ePack (which is still a pretty bad site).

I wouldn't have been able to trade anything at all in real life idk how that even works lol like is it a card show or just online or something? I wouldn't have put in the time to figure it out cause I didn't even think of that as an option.

Idk how I ended up getting anything decent on epack though, like the only nice cards I've pulled are like 2 Lafreniere ygs, so where the hell did I get this other stuff lol. These synergy achievements were huge for me ig

And yeah its interesting other companies don't take this approach. It's the future of opening packs imo since it's so damn hard to find them anywhere physically besides online

I opened two and all I got was 2x Sorokin and Ty Smith for young guns on e-pack.

When I opened a physical box last month I got Ty Smith too, while my brother got Stuetzle and Romanov from his box :(
