Not a good sign that the fan base is getting almost to a point of immunity from the pain of losing and that failure and underachieving is now just so baked in to the culture.

Woll didn't do anything special. Sam can make the saves he made. He made 1 or 2 nice ones last night.

The difference in goaltending was our heavy D finally fully settled into Boston game and they couldn't even manage shots until halfway in the game. I really enjoy watching that. In 20 years we never witness our defence beating forwards down like that and making them hesitant to crash the net.

Only thing to wonder is if Woll would have poke check Pasta. Ilyas mental weakness full display on that goal. Both goalies are getting beat on that backhand without poke check ending the play.

But at end of the day neither Woll or Samsonov should be the no.1 next season. Ilya mental weakness is paired with Woll physical weakness and it also unproven if Woll is even no.1 caliber over full season

With our goaltending I don’t think you can play loose hockey like regular season in the playoffs. Maybe if Woll was healthy I’d agree you play your game but to be honest, the game plan worked for games 5 & 6. But if you have a goalie who lets in weak goals that strategy will not work.

Samsonov letting in the tying goal killed all our momentum. If he makes a save there I think we win.

The overtime goal was one thing, but why is everyone forgetting about the soft goal that he let in right after we scored? Without that goal it doesn't even go to OT. I'm positive Woll makes that save.

Lindholm just flicked the puck at the net with no windup, the defenceman that scored 3 goals all year and the puck hit his hand and then went into the net on the first shot he faced after we took a 1-0 lead.

When we brought back Keefe and Samsonov we knew it wasn't our year. Goalie is critical in the playoffs. Keefe has had plenty of chances with these guys in their prime, it's time for change and you can't fire the players.Luckily we have a lot to walk away from now. Bert, Samsonov, Brodie are about $14 m.If a stud dman or C drops in the draft we need to trade up. Hire a proven winning coach. Get a better goalie and sign a top 2 dman. This team would get trashed by Florida.We may need to convince Tavares to retire and go upstairs.This model is broken..period. Don't waste a year and then have no draft picks. I don't know. I think there's a difference between playing when your back is against the wall vs. seizing the opportunity to snuff out your opponent when you have the chance.

How else do you explain this era's almost endless inability to close out a series?

I think there's a pretty significant mental block for this team. It's almost a "don't lose" mindset rather than most win.

But there's no question games 5&6 this year and any other elimination game are way more important with more pressure than games 1&3

I think they had the right mix to win. Some of the pieces need to change, but the backend made it miserable for Bos. Domi and Bert provided secondary scoring. Too bad only Nylander could scorevin the last two games
