I guess it's a strategy to draw penalties by literally running into somebody's stick with your face.
Those marketing geniuses are the one's that are selling partial season tickets solely because the buyer thinks they'll get playoff priority, despite the playoffs not being a guarantee. That's literally perfect marketing, I don't know what you're talking about...
My point is that it's like a jinx to our team. I swear I don't remember any playoff commercials/ticket packages/etc during our Cup year until after the division was clinched. Granted that was with 2-3 weeks left but still.
It just seems like every time they do this it blows up in our face at the end.
It isn't a commercial for the playoffs, it's a commercial for the mini-package of season tickets disguised as a commercial for the playoffs.
And we had the "jinx" discussion awhile back, there's really nothing to when they start advertising.
