I pay a handsome man handsomely to do that.

And truthfully from all the beer festivals I've gone to...and it's been a lot...that's not really what the average beer snob looks like. That's probably like...15% of the room while at least 60% of the room looks like they live with their mother and will pay for sex at least once.

It's true though.

tbh those guys look more like bros who want to be alternative and then become barbers at salons that specialize only in men's hair and think A Day to Remember is a hardcore band.

That’s the furthest I’ve grown mine as well but I’ll usually fade it down the sides and keep it longer at the bottom.

If I go firefighting no more beard so I have to enjoy it while I can lol

Yeah that's how I've been doing it for awhile now. The guy who I go to for my hair busted that out on a beard trim one day and I've never looked better.

My barber of two years moved back to Lebanon and I’m struggling to find anyone who did what he did to me around here. He was a magician. I’m still sad he moved. :(

I can't grow a beard either.....goatee is as far as I can go, it looks way too scuzzy if I try to run it up the sides.

Patchy all day every day. No bueno.

Same goes for moustaches as well....Movember is a no-go for me, I can generate about as thick a moustache as Sidney Crosby. Again, no bueno.

I never want to pay extra for a beard trim. Or do you have to pay extra? I always say no because I don't want to ask if it's extra.

I think it depends on the place.

My dad gets his hair cut by an old Italian man and hasn't paid for a single beard trim in 25+ years. I get my hair cut by a dude with tattoos in a overpriced specialized men's place in a trendy neighbourhood. I pay extra for the beard.

I paid extra for the beard but it’s worth it. I can’t fade it like them and line it up like they do on my own. It’s worth it for me.

And even then, my barber (who left) would do the cut and beard and only charge me for the cut if he handled it at the register if it wasn’t busy.

I was gonna joke that we go to the same spot but Toronto truly has so many of these places that it's impossible. My barber is also a dude with many tattoos and a big beard in a trendy neighborhood that has MAN in the business name.

Not overpriced tho.

Location in the Junction and a location in Parkdale.

The...odds of us going to the same place are likely slim. I hope.

Yeah exactly. I can do my own beard trim. I've done it for years and still do it if I have to (i.e the length if bugging me but I'm not ready for a hair cut yet) but my guy works so hard on it...he's working on it for like..15 minutes and it comes out perfect. It's worth the cost since I manage to do a decent job and he makes me look like I'm actually good looking.

My best friend goes to Crow's Nest. The Alexisonfire bassist works there and does my friends hair/beard.

 I almost went here. It was recommended to me when I was looking for a new barber late last year but I wanted someone closer to my work.
