Rofl...I am always goofing off with the female co workers and get accused of harrassing them from customers even when both explaining we always goof off to eachother. I love being falsely accused of things. Didn't care what either of us said, I am a bad guy and I should be punished.

Oh no so sorry to hear that. Our beagle is 14 and I’m dreading it…

I'm in the same boat. I have a beagle/border collie mix (her name is Crosby) and I don't know how I'll get over this dog not being there. We've been thru a TON together

We lost our pitty almost 4 years ago now and that was brutal. She was 9 going on 10. But the beagle will be even harder, adopting her is pretty much the first thing my wife did when she left school and started her adult life and we moved in together a few months later.

Luckily I’ve decided that she’s going to live forever so it won’t be a problem.

So after liking Bottoms a lot I figured I’d check out Rachel Sennett and Emma Seligmans other movie they made together Shiva Baby. My goodness the tone couldn’t be more different between the two, but I really liked this one a lot too. I guess those two plus Ayo Edebiri went to school together; here’s hoping they keep making stuff together.

My other pug is named Crosby too. 😃

He was diagnosed with an incurable cancer not long after we lost his brother. Oncologist said he’d probably only live for 1-3 months

….. that was 10 months ago and he’s still going strong 💪

I just watched Red Rocket which was pretty funny too.

It was also pretty disturbing.

I wasn't close to my aunt but she passed away yesterday in her sleep I found out today, she got extremly into drinking and smoking and went to a place to recover and came back and didn't stop drinking and fell down the stairs and broke her femur or something and my uncle had to take care of her every day and she would pooh all over herself all the time (like my pops does) and had to wash and dress her all the time. Pretty sure she didn't want me around anymore and pretty much disowned me, don't know why some of the family kept lieing and saying things that wern't true just to get rid of me but you don't pick your family. RIP anyway.

Im normally a quick witted social person but I went to the dispensary the other day in an annoyed mood. When you go to a dispensary it seems everyone who works there very quickly all evolve into the same overly positive hippie granola personality. Robots of conformity. Im a good bit granola hippie so normally its whatever but not that day.

12 yr old clerk lady who maybe turned hippie yesterday: "hows your day? hows your vibes going?"

me: "good" hand her my drivers license and say "thank you"

clerk lady, when a male employee walks behind her: "OMG hes been bullying me all daaaaaa .. hes such a meanie!" in this fake valley girl accent

me: just staring at her blankly

clerk lady: "hes such a bully .. god .. I wish he wouldnt come over here .. (awkward silence) ... im just playing"

Me: staring at her blankly

Saw Furiosa last night. I don't think it's as good as Fury Road, but it's still really good. I was a little skeptical about Anya Taylor Joy for the action parts, but she was great. Chris Hemsworth is great in it. I don't know if I'm sold on him as a "serious" actor, but give the guy a good script and let him chew some scenery and he's fantastic. It's not so much serious that I question I think, because he does some great dramatic scenes in this and as Thor honestly, it's grounded. I don't know that I can see him acting in some natural normal guy role. He's very theatrical. He looks right at home on a motorcycle chariot

It's got weird pacing. I'm not sure if it's good or bad, but different. It's almost like a few separate stories where they just skip what happens in between them. I think it generally works, and is definitely better than telling the same stories and including boring stuff in between them, but it's just odd.

Still, I really liked it. It's just not quite as good as Fury Road, which is just about a perfect action movie.

Watched the first omen... which annoys me title wise because the first omen was the first one (the original) and I can't stop calling the original 'the first omen' confusing both of them. =P
Was surprisingly excellent as a sequel prequel.... and it went kind of hand in hand with Indika which I played around the same time.

@Zirakzigil
Came today to post about updating my am5 7800x3d machine.
After a lot of research and etc, figured I bought the wrong ram.... corsair 5200 (40-40-40-77)... and went with gskill 6000 (30-36-36-96 --- tightened to 30-36-36-38) (with sk hynix a die) and noticed the difference immediately... as in... pretty massive. Everything is so silky smooth and it makes me so frustrated they say 5200 is the blah blah blah when you buy the processor, then everywhere else you look they say ddr5 6000 cl30 is what you want.

Anyways, just wanted to let you (and anyone else if they planned on getting that cpu) the big difference.
Oh, and I used buildzoid's timings and tightened them and got my latency to 63.6 ns. Out of the box was 71.8 ns and the corsair was 91.8 ns.
add add add: my memory read/write/copy basically improved substantially on aida64 mem test).

@Ogrezilla i guess you and i are the only ones around these parts anymore =/
OT was always more quiet, especially in the summer. But the penguins downfall doesn't help the numbers either.

You up to anything during this summer? (or is it nearing winter solstice for you??)

Just got back from a Disney world trip with the nephews and niece. Some smaller things planned like a beer fest and weekend beach trip. A few concerts in there too. Should be a good summer.

Otherwise I've finally been watching the sopranos. Just finished season 5.

Yeah it's dead here
