I've got giant size 14 and super wide feet. Really sucks trying to fit for skates. If I don't have an absolute perfect fit it hurts my feet to skate pretty badly.

Gents, got on the ice twice over the past 2 days and I have to say: playing goalie is a ton of fun, but also great muscle conditioning. Just standing in a "butterfly-ready" position works muscles that never really get used. I have been picking up proper technique and trying to drop bad technique (from the roller hockey days). I haven't had this much fun on the ice in long time.

Also, I'd like to say have a happy NYE wherever you celebrate, hope 2017 treats all HFNYR well! :yo:

Anyone play the new COD?

I wasn't gonna get it, but saw it on sale for $30 before Xmas and got it. Most fun I've had since Black Ops 1.

so completely random.

Im listening to Pink Floyd 1980-02-28 and between "hey you" and is there anybody out there. The trippy audio portion between songs is actually an interview with JD!!

funniest part about that is the show is at Nassau Col.

Watching Cool Runnings. Forgot Al Trautwig pops in for the Games. Prime Trautwig was good!

Anyone know if there is something like a wearable bracelet that has an alarm that wakes you in between REM cycles?

Feel like every morning for work I wake up tired because it's not timed the right way. I'm hoping that this sort of thing exists where it tracks your sleep and then wakes you before or after the REM cycle closest to your desired time to wake up.

If this doesn't exist, who wants to make it with me and be rich forever? :)

Ugh, join the club. Waking up this morning for work was painful. So gloomy, too.

There are apps for your phone that do this. You have to sleep with your phone on your bed though. They track your movement in your sleep, going by the idea that you move more in light sleep and less in heavy sleep.

Yeah I've seen a few of those, but I don't love the idea of my phone being so close while I sleep. Well, I mean, I sleep with it right next to me but not on my bed... I'm not sure how much of a difference that makes

I think a cross-country flight exposes you to many times more radiation than your phone.

I tried Sleep Cycle for a while (over a year). I did like it. It did a pretty good job waking me up when not in deep sleep. Now I just sleep more and don't need it. :handclap:

mine is NO_GRANDMA_NO

i play nhl17 and rocket league and other games

NHL 17 is so ****ing bad and it keeps getting worse with every gameplay update that EA puts out. Ordered a custom controller back in November and it's finally arriving today, I'll give the game one more chance. Otherwise it's getting shelved and I'm back to NHL 15 on the 360 until 18 comes out.

You never messaged me back on battle net :(

Krams I think the skating is horrendous in NHL17. But the shooting is a little bit better, at least in my opinion. The same cross crease cheap goal trash exists still but this time the goalie actually moves out of the way for you.

Skating is atrocious, shooting still isn't where it needs to be, "net front battles" are hilariously bad, passing is terrible. And that ain't even getting into the garbage you run into online with the goalie interference no-goals and the exploding puck poke checks. Ice tilt is still real no matter what EA says.

I could write a whole senior thesis' worth of *****ing about this game

Ice tilt is real yes.

Example: Played couple days ago, I won 3-1 but had some 48 shots or something like that but my guys were skating in tar and opposing goalie was making head scratching saves like behind the back and 3/4th over the goal line stick sweeps... felt like the other guy was playing with a bunch of Bures coming down the ice. I only won because he/she didn't ever adjust to defensive formations. My 3 goals came from hilariously prolonged cycles. But it was actually a damn struggle to skate and pass.
