So useful for going outdoors and carrying around all the things I do.
Hockey balls, water bottles, flasks , phone wallet/ID/metrocard etc. Pandora's box of items are in Plams' pockets
Just no, though. No cargo anything.
They are the versatile type of shorts everyone needs once in a while! For me pretty good too, I'm not talking about the ones rappers sag at shows but like regular shorts with the extra pocket or two. I'm not a big fashion person either so it's meh. All of mine are black so it's hard to tell anyway. Very handy/functional
I like winter cause I can wear one of my like 120 hockey jerseys any time I please outside of job interviews if I get them and formal gatherings.
Cargo shorts are great in the summer for when you don't care about presentation but want something comfortable and loose fitting (for me, that would be metal concerts).
Guys... I am making the switch from forward to goalie in ice hockey.
In roller hockey is was a forward most of the time as well, but I played goalie from time to time. I have always enjoyed playing roller hockey goalie in pick up games and strongly started considering making the switch once I had to trash my old forward equipment: I had to decide whether I should switch to goalie or stay as a forward.
I know I'm going to like it, it's just learning the mechanics on the ice vs. on roller blades on the street. Playing forward was getting a bit stale for me too: I really didn't have any drive to get on the ice.
Can't wait to break in the new pads, this is the most excited I've been to get back on the ice in a long time!![]()
This is going to sound so dumb (as I'm obviously a huge hockey fan and volunteer to work for this board) but I still don't really know how to skate. Never played organized hockey.![]()
Have you gone to public skating or anything like that?
I'm pretty sure I nuked any cargo shorts I used to own from my younger years.
I just hate shorts in general to be honest. That's why prefer Autumn/Winter
It is winter and I'm wearing shorts right now.
Pants are the worst thing to ever happen.
Of course. I'm just terrible at it because I don't skate regularly.
My hockey experiences have consisted of playing ball hockey with my friends on pavement.
