I'm pretty sure I nuked any cargo shorts I used to own from my younger years.

I just hate shorts in general to be honest. That's why prefer Autumn/Winter

Just no, though. No cargo anything.

They are the versatile type of shorts everyone needs once in a while! For me pretty good too, I'm not talking about the ones rappers sag at shows but like regular shorts with the extra pocket or two. I'm not a big fashion person either so it's meh. All of mine are black so it's hard to tell anyway. Very handy/functional

I like winter cause I can wear one of my like 120 hockey jerseys any time I please outside of job interviews if I get them and formal gatherings.

Guys... I am making the switch from forward to goalie in ice hockey.

In roller hockey is was a forward most of the time as well, but I played goalie from time to time. I have always enjoyed playing roller hockey goalie in pick up games and strongly started considering making the switch once I had to trash my old forward equipment: I had to decide whether I should switch to goalie or stay as a forward.

I know I'm going to like it, it's just learning the mechanics on the ice vs. on roller blades on the street. Playing forward was getting a bit stale for me too: I really didn't have any drive to get on the ice.

Can't wait to break in the new pads, this is the most excited I've been to get back on the ice in a long time! :yo:

Cargo shorts are great in the summer for when you don't care about presentation but want something comfortable and loose fitting (for me, that would be metal concerts).

Yep, exactly this and that's why I wear them, frequent shows and several outdoor events around here in the summertime. Good for casual road hockey too quite honestly if you have no other option

This is going to sound so dumb (as I'm obviously a huge hockey fan and volunteer to work for this board) but I still don't really know how to skate. Never played organized hockey.

It is winter and I'm wearing shorts right now.

Pants are the worst thing to ever happen.

Wait. Has anyone seen Montreal's tree that is supposed to compete with NYC's tree?

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

I feel bad for that tree. The entire internet is making fun of it.

It's still pretty ugly though. At least pick a tree that isn't crooked.

Of course. I'm just terrible at it because I don't skate regularly.

My hockey experiences have consisted of playing ball hockey with my friends on pavement.

I'm basically the same... I've only skated 2 times in my life.. I can handle going forward and turning.. backwards isn't my thing lol.. I always played street ball hockey here in Florida with the neighborhood kids.. I'd say my game translated to a rick Nash of the neighborhood.. i was 6,2" in 5th grade so I was always able to just size anyone up lol

Really wish I had the scratch to hit up the last Brooks Brothers sale. Was such a great sale deals-wise. Oh well. I had done their pre-Christmas sale which was still solid.

I think I am gonna buy a new car, though.

Same. I have ridiculously flat feet and it ****s with my balance to the point where I'd likely fail a field sobriety test even if I hadn't a drop to drink. So skating was always a failed experiment, but on the bright side I have an easy out if military conscription ever comes back. :neener:
