Currently finishing up my sophomore year.

Is it kind of crazy that I want to graduate already?

I'm about to graduate and couldn't be happier.

College is wonderful but it has a limit. esp if you're doing a trillion internships and honor classes

Either I had way too much fun in college, my life really sucks now, or a combination of both.

You guys have noooooooooooooooooo idea how good you have it.

My uni usually has two midterms per class, which threw me off at first. So there's a two month period where you can have a midterm or two every week. And then of course my wonderful CS and math assignments take forever. All hail the wonder that is Google.

This x 100

College years were the best. Partying, drinking, chasing girls and not a care in the world.

Now i work 50 hour weeks and come home to a nagging woman. FML lol

Got a bunch of job applications out and got my first interview out of the bunch. Will be going down to NYC on Wednesday for it and then driving back up home after Zzzzzzzzzzzzz

Wish I could just do it on a Friday and stay in the city for an evening and be able to drive back up on Saturday.

Oh well. Hopefully more places get back to me soon, as this job isn't exactly my first choice...but it's something.

Work a job I don't love for money that isn't good enough.
Pay too much for an apartment that isn't great.
Hangovers at work are much harder to fight through than hangovers in class.

I can go on and on and on.

Only gonna get worse brother.

If I can just get my salary to $80k/year before my current lease is up. Then I can get a 1br for like $2K/month somewhere in Hell's Kitchen or the UES - and have some money to play with.

Goals.

I had almost zero fun in college. All work and no play.

I graduated in May 2015 and have been working full time for almost 1 full year. I enjoy working way more than college.

I've never, ever heard of that

where do you go?

Outside of my sophomore year college has been the exact same for me. All work very little play.

Time doesn't get any slower.

Can't believe it's been four years since I graduated.

**** that.

It's kind of saddening for me

I come home after 40 hours of work and (well, not anymore, but classes) to no woman. Loneliness is crippling sometimes, lol

100% agreed. I thought I was happy to get out (graduated in 2011) and get my life going. Now I just miss the good times with my teammates and the complete lack of responsibility and not worrying about money. My life doesn't necessarily suck, although I don't really like my job and am trying to upgrade, but living carefree and partying and just having fun and ************ around all the times was so great.

Even when I was the right age to be partying my brains out, I found it pretty exhausting.

Now I prefer sipping alcohol at home while watching sports on TV and getting plenty of sleep.

you learn to balance out getting ****ed up 3-4 times a week and getting so much work done though.

especially my senior year (this year) I had to balance out two internships, bar tending on the weekends, 18 credits each semester, and in between some time to recoup my sanity.

I just know life will be more of the same so I'm just passing it through

Buffalo it isn't bad at UB honestly. Your first year will probably suck bad cause of gen eds but I'm sure your kin and myself can supply you with books and help. I kept all my old notes j think.

I ****ing loved my time at UB. Leaving Buffalo is one of my bigger regrets. Mostly because I look at what I'm paying in rent now, and the house it can buy me up there. But, to be fair, I wouldn't be making this salary in Buffalo. So, I suppose it all evens out.

But Plams, I think he was talking about how we were all kind of ****ting on post-college life, not college life ;)

Yeah, I went to Oswego and almost all of my college buddies still live in the CNY area, most in Buffalo and Rochester. They all make average money, yet all have NICE 4 bedroom houses that they bought at like 24 or so.

Of course their total payments a month are like $900 bucks (mortgage, taxes, utilities) and my rent alone for my 1 BR apartment is $2,150.
