Quoting you for good karma. Emailed my rep, who usually gets back to me within a day or two on the 8th of May to inquire about relocation. Haven't heard a peep out of him since then. Emailed again this morning so we'll see what happens.

Finally heard back from my ticket rep today. Apparently he is in the process of being "transitioned" into a new role. He reportedly forwarded my note to my new ticket rep the same day I sent it. Yeah, ok. I haven't heard anything from my new rep "Claudia" at all and nor did he copy her in on the latest message. Excellent service, as per usual.

We had specifically asked for section 217 as one of our sections to move to. Nice to see the P6 folks moving ahead of us. I fully expect to not be relocated yet again. And honestly I'd walk away from the seats right now if it was an option.

Sounds like the same old same old. Are you sure he didn't mean he was being "transitioned" to "Claudia"?

Is Ticket rep the worst job in the world? I've lost count on how many different reps I've had. They don't seem to last more than 2 seasons with True North,

It’s probably the pay. TNSE is notorious for low salaries. And they have some sort of requirement that employees work at a certain number of events in evenings.

Put my relocation request in 8 years ago and got it this week as well, moved from P6 to 217 (p3)

Well, after some politely aggressive emails with my ticket rep and being able to point out @Toomuts relocation we managed to get moved within P3. We really wanted the 200 level P3s but that was not to be.

We're moving from 112, row 15 to 103, row 8. Aisle seats to boot and across that stairwell are P2 seats. So I'm pretty pleased about it. Would have liked row 10 or higher but I'm well aware that we have zero choice in this matter. Moving out of the attack zone as well for periods 1/3 but I'm ok with that in that I'm more on the side of the rink now rather than directly behind the net. It should also end all my gripes about washrooms and beer lines since I'll be able to zip out during ice cleanings with ease. So it's likely I'll spend more money at games now.

Since I can't not say something negative I have to point out that my new ticket rep has called me by the wrong name (it's an approximation of my first name but not correct, like calling a 'Darryl' - Darren instead), misspelled my surname on the ticket agreement and called me by my surname (yup, I've got a surname that could be a first name) instead of my first name in the span of two days. Attention to detail: low.

And 'Bacon with Byfuglien' I'd be all over.

Congrats on the seat upgrade. We were in the opposite corner in 115 on the goal line in row 13 and the view was excellent. You're losing a period of Jets Attack but you get the OT attack zone now.

Good to hear "Claudia" came through for you. I'm pretty much right behind you in the loge. I like being at that end. You get an excellent view of the 3rd period collapses. :sarcasm:

Glad you were finally able to relocate. Aisle seats are the best. Washroom and back when the shovels come out. Even beer and back!

The downside as Buggs pointed out is that easy access to concessions probably means you spend more money. Plus you're dealing with half your row crossing in front of you and I missed a few goals over the years because some dawdling half-wit was still shuffling in front of me after play had resumed.

I gotta say I'm pretty happy with my current ticket rep. He's been the best one I've had by far over the past 8 years of being a season ticket holder.

In longer rows it can be an issue. When I was in P2 on the aisle it was a bit of a hassle as it was a very long row. In p3 on the aisle I believe there are only 12 seats and 4 of them are my group so only 2 people I don’t know come in and out and they have pretty good game etiquette.
Yup, can get out to spend money pretty quick and easy to grab a beer by signalling the beer sellers walking up and down.

It's interesting how we see things differently. I've had aisle seats in P5 since the first season in 2011. There were certainly the "pro's" of being able to slip in and out of our seats quickly during TV timeouts. But it drove me absolutely bonkers when people would walk in front of us during play. One time, this guy made us get up seven times during play in one game while he went back-and forth for his beers.

When our ticket rep offered us tickets in the middle of a section, that was actually one of the things I was most excited about. I certainly won't be able to get out as quick after the game, and washroom breaks might be a bit less convenient, but I'm really looking forward to be able to watch the game less interruption. Our section is also near washrooms and our entrance and exit doors, so hopefully that will be a plus too.

Well, different rows matter too.

What I mean is where I was in 112 I was smack dab in the middle of the row. 12 seats to go by one way, 11 the other way. Not sure but I think that might be the longest row in the building. I like hockey and I don't like inconveniencing people watching the game, so I was pretty much glued to my seat for the entire period. Less beer (actually a good thing) but more aggravation in general in that I couldn't get out quickly to get a beer even during intermission, so got in that line and it was indeed a lengthy line by the time I got there. Plus then I got to wait in the bathroom line during intermission. Both of those usually ended up with me coming back after intermission at the first whistle in the next period. :thumbd:

I think a big part of it is how the area around your section functions. I've been up to the 300s and found them far more functional and less congested than out back of 112 which has the new beer/bar area, Tim's and the mini Jets store plus the only men's washroom for miles (lol). So it's hyper congested back there. It gets bad everywhere but it seems worse there. I've occasionally been around the 103-105 area during intermission and it seems way less crowded.

My new row in section 103 has me in aisle seats. It has 9 seats in between stairwells by a quirk of building construction. So whoever I'm sitting with and two, maybe three people might go by me during the period. That person in the middle might go the other way at times. The other 4 are likely to go up the stairs on the other side.

So I take your point for sure. Had I been on the aisle in my old row I might have found it less enjoyable, though I did sit one row down on the aisle for one preseason game last year and it wasn't bad. But that was preseason and the drinking was lighter so the traffic was too. But my knees are bad so having to get up might have been helpful as well.

I'm quite certain I'll find things to gripe about in my new section but for now I'm pleased as punch.

We are in P6, the half season package that True North offered in 2011. When we were asked to choose our seats we picked seats on the sides and didn't even come close to those when we were shown our seats. At first I was disappointed with our seats but after the 1st game I realized that they were fantastic. We are in Row 6 right above the tunnel (there are 4 seats there) and there are stairs on both sides of the seats, so the seat holders in seats 1 and 2 use the one side of stairs, and we use the other side as does the rest of the row, we NEVER have to get up for anyone

Did anyone else not get charged June 1st for their ST payment? I’m on the pay in 3 payment plan. Thought the second one was a couple days ago.
