I like Sennecke, but he wouldn't be getting a lick of votes like he is now if he went, say, 9th overall. I would take a handful of players still waiting to be added into the poll over him

Hutson too. Great prospect and this is not knock on him, but I believe Simashev, Sandin-Pellikka, Mateychuk, Reinbacher, and even Zellweger will turn out to become more impactful defenders overall

We had rumors that he was getting a lot of consideration with Columbus and Montreal. He went high for a reason.

I personally watched all of these guys and had Sennecke 5th on my list this year, and the four ahead of him are all voted in on our poll now.

Man this list went south so hard after the third poll.

Horrible cesspool of homerism and media hype.

How can we determine it’s going south? We won’t know how this list looks for a while…. Basically every list goes south…. Some guys will blow past expectations and some won’t meet them.

It’s just a fun thing on the forum for everyone to participate…. You had 3 habs in top 18 on your list…. Seems kinda pot kettle ish

For good reasons.

Having Hutson and Yurov ahead of Catton and Iginla is just pure hype/db
lets see your top 15

Timing/hype will play a big part in these types of polls yes, so will homerism…. Most of us prob don’t see all these guys play

The discussion is the fun part for me I don’t generally care what the order looks like.

Yurov is just hype? the hell are you talking about?

the kid's in Minnesota for one, not exactly the biggest market or fanbase. Two, he just had an exceptional year in the KHL of all leagues at age 19/20.... and here you are, you yourself hyping up 2 players from the WHL who were constantly ranked between 8-13 this past draft.

He’s got 4 habs in top 18 lol
oh im sure its as bad has his past lists, maybe worse
