After, he had plenty of time

Yep. Looked right at his numbers and destroyed him. Won't even get a call because he's superstar Ovi who destroyed lowly 6d Keven Miller's shoulder.

This game would be over without the refs in Washington's wallet. Brutal, brutal, brutal.

Ovechkin should be long gone tonight.

Hell baby
Ok I've seen several plays just like the one tonight where it was called offside. I saw it clearly offside. Just because you didn't doesn't mean it wasn't offside. I did see it, and so did the linesman.

The linesman actually didn't see it. You know, because it was inconclusive and he didn't call it on the ice. Just like the goal called earlier in the year against us was.

And just because you saw it offsides doesn't mean it was offsides

No the linesman did see it hence why he called it offside.

I'm legitimately curious as to if people really believe there is a conspiracy against their team. I see fans of so many teams say stuff like this so I'm curious who decides which side the ref is going to be bias for. Like what reason would the NHL have to pick Washington over Boston?

A four inch replay isn't enough to reverse his call, he knew what to do. "Game management". Even more clear after Ovechkin remains in the game. And his 5 minute major is partially negated with a BS roughing call. Must feel nice to have refs helping so desperately!

Hahahahaha. They don't call the Bruins for a hook or a too many men while the caps are on the PP, but they call Wilson for interference while the Bruins are already on an extended PP and you consider that in the Caps' pockets? Yeah, okay.

Didn't you just have a 5 on 3?

Anyways, it was clear on the replay NESN showed that it was offside.

So I guess Babcock's whining paid off as it appears they won't call a thing on the Laffs tonight and call everything on the Sens. Nice snipe by Soshnikov on the undeserved PP anyways.

Lost a goal to "offsides"
Then Ovi gets an assist when 95% of the league would be in the locker room for his hit.

And there it is. The first comment about refs in the Toronto-Ottawa.

After consulting with Toronto...

Didn't make the call in real time.

And yes, that's why coach's challenge exists. The linesman missed the call in real time, looked at the replay and realized he made the wrong call. So he reversed the call.

The rule is terrible. I get it. But the lineseman followed the protocol, and ended up getting the call correct.
