Stupid children.... the kings are a completely different team.

What This Means for You:
Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.
In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server3 on 3 is just a gimmick. The shootout is straight forward and honest.
Whaddya think about going to 8 OT minutes like suggest at the GM meetings last week?
Stats suggest it would complete 90% in a “game” setting in that timeframe. I’m for it.
Not a fan of shoot outs other than exciting but not to finish games where play off positions are dependent on.
Edit - I see above now.
Like with Logan Thompson.... I will always hope.I think the NHL made a mistake by making the shootout three shooters per side. That’s just me though. I actually prefer ties to shootouts but that’s a very unpopular opinion and I know they’re never bringing them back.
...3-on-3 is Pond Hockey and Shootouts are nothing more than a Skills Competition...go back to 5-on-5 and TIES after 10 minute OT...

Beg to disagree. Turn that around 180 degrees and we have a deal.3 on 3 is just a gimmick. The shootout is straight forward and honest.
So am I as you all learned earlier today....3-on-3 is Pond Hockey and Shootouts are nothing more than a Skills Competition...go back to 5-on-5 and TIES after 10 minute OT...

I don't mind ties, but 3-on-3 seems to put a disincentive on shooting. I'd rather just go with a shootout after regulation, as only an idiot would punt the puck back to their own zone in a shootout.I think the NHL made a mistake by making the shootout three shooters per side. It wouldn’t surprise me if you were old enough to have been watching hockey when they did 10 minute overtime that wasn’t sudden death.![]()

No deal. 4-on4 OT was ok, if we're doing that. 3-on-3 just encourages no risk hockey.Beg to disagree. Turn that around 180 degrees and we have a deal.

That was kind of my whole point, thereYou’d have to be pretty stupid to punt the puck back into your own zone in a shootout, considering that when the puck ceases its forward momentum after being first touched, the play is considered to have been completed (with a few rare exceptions).
Did you watch hockey when Bobby Orr just had a brush cut and no flow? Black and white TV or radio? Reg season Games were only tied back then.It wouldn’t surprise me if you were old enough to have been watching hockey when they did 10 minute overtime that wasn’t sudden death.![]()
Vegas a scary team when they put it all together...........Well coached at both ends of the ice and Hill steps it up in big spots.........Howden out of the box, so Tampa will be on the PP again soon.
I'm old but was born in the late 70s, so noDid you watch hockey when Bobby Orr just had a brush cut and no flow? Black and white TV or radio? Reg season Games were only tied back then.

A friend of mine played in Syracuse in the NAHL and was an on ice extra.
I started following the league in 86 but i like 3v3 because it's great to see the elite players showcase their skills with the extra space..........It just has to be regulated a bit (maybe an over and back rule)..........Did you watch hockey when Bobby Orr just had a brush cut and no flow? My skates are older…omgI started watching hockey during the 2001-02 season. I don’t remember whether it was before or after the turn of the new year. I’m only 38.![]()
We should go back to sticks that are carved out of a single piece of hornbeam.
Here me out.... the ability to score an own goal in the shootoutYou’d have to be pretty stupid to punt the puck back into your own zone in a shootout, considering that when the puck ceases its forward momentum after being first touched, the play is considered to have been completed (with a few rare exceptions).
