It's honestly the dumbest thing I've ever heard on any sports forum.

Even on basketball forums where you have people who vitriolically hate players like LeBron or something, they will never in a million years be stupid enough to say they could actually put on sneakers and not get completely dummied against said player in a 1 on 1 game or something.

I kind of laugh just thinking anyone would even think they could do that.

That happened 100%, lol, you know it did too, but I think after he hit 60 goals or somewhere around the 2022 playoffs where he put up ridiculous points you kind of took down the rhetoric and kind of quietly admitted "yeah I guess he's OK at hockey", lulz.

lulz are always warranted when people on message boards claim they could hang on a playing surface against any of the top athletes in the world. You would get absolutely dummied, I said that multiple times during that exchange, I think specifically I said "you wouldn't even be able to touch McDavid if you put on skates" to which Three On Zero vehemently objected to and said he would some how lay him out and was confused why NHL defenders don't just hit him. Is that not "lulz" worthy?
