For having so much talent on your team you sure have a strange focus on the Red Wings players.

More like i remember all the wings fans on hfboard drooling over tatar copying kanes shootout move. If only he could copy the rest of kanes game amirite

Yeah, how dare Wings fans enjoy their own players utilizing a move that someone else is famous for and failed to score on in that very same shootout.

And how dare i observe the rest of his game falls woefully short

You seem to want to be the first to point out something everyone else knew because he copied a move your player uses regularly.

Who freaking cares if he uses that move? Take it as a compliment for crying out loud.

Toews got away with interference on the Panarin goal.

And Detroit got a PP off a phantom penalty on a "hook" by Andrew Shaw.

I'm sorry, but the story this season for ALL teams is "The refs giveth, and the refs taketh away" EVERY team is getting screwed by them at times, and EVERY team is getting some benefit from them at times.

No question. It's silly to complain all the time about refs.

Which I wouldn't have it any other way against Detroit. They've been doing that same interference play against Chicago year after year. Toews finally giving Detroit a taste of their own medicine.

Toews got away with interference on the Panarin goal.

A part of his game he's picked up noticeably over the past couple seasons. The dude is taking advantage of his star status and gets away with a decent amount of interference and riding that line.

The Eddie O indoctrination seems to be alive and well, still.

Eddie O actually called out Toews for interfering on that play. So I guess that narratives out the window

Have you missed the last 6 or 7 years?

Also do you even understand what I was saying? Him mentioning a play where Toews interferes does not have anything to do with his propensity to call out Detroit for subtle interference on a regular basis.

Go watch the 5 on 3 goal vs Toronto, in which they scored in the same fashion, or the one in Nashville in the playoffs where Sharp tucks in home. Toews has been doing this for a while, surprised the officials haven't caught on. But to complain about interference in Detroit is pretty funny. Shaw call was weak. Z call on Ladd was dumb. No call on Ericsson for anything was dumb. (except the fighting).

Might it be because they're the masters of it? Seriously. They've nearly got a trademark on it. Does that mean they're the only team to do it? No. It means they've done it the best for years.

When something is technically illegal but never called it becomes legal. Good on the other players adapting to that.

What? So if hes calling everyone out on it including his "home" team then why is it an issue? It lends credibility to detroit doing it more often and him just objectively calling it out vs the wings martyr theory that hes picking on them

He doesn't, though. Again, you seem to have missed the last 6 or 7 years.
