Berube has, to this point, developed something of a Guy Boucher profile. He came into Philadelphia in-season in 2013-'14, after missing the playoffs the year before, and got them to the playoffs, but was disappointing the following season and dismissed.

So far this season, came into an underachieving St. Louis side, that also missed the playoffs last year, and has gotten them currently into the top-8 and they look better one week to the next. Beyond just how this season turns out for the Blues, I'm gonna be curious to see what comes of them next season and see if Berube was the victim of a Flyers team that wasn't good enough in '14-'15 or if his tendencies and ideas run stale in his first full year as a head coach with a team.

As great as he’s been, Ill be slightly pessimistic if he’s our head coach in October.
