Imo the idea of a pop tart was always more enticing than the actual product. Icing, flaky pastry dough, fruit filling — all great in theory, and they made it look good in commercials. But in the end the execution was lackluster. Weird texture and always tasted stale.

I've been using them as late night snacks (30sec in the microwave). Get the 48 count box from Costco or Sam's Club.

But their quality control has gone to shit.... I've been finding some that are half filled.
