Rangers getting clown pounded 5-0 by the devils just seems so weird, but on brand for that team this season. I'm surprised no one has been fired yet, especially in a major market like New York. I guess the Jets being a distraction has made the Rangers fly under the radar.

Yeah, this Rangers team has been completely broken for a couple of weeks we're all now just watching the debris crash into the parking lot.

But firing folks at Christmas is not ideal. Lav is probably anticipating though and has tickets to Oahu for the evening of January 2.

Thanks Trade Freeze. I'm not saying people should be fired 2 days before Christmas, but this has been building for what feels like the entire month of December.

Speaking of Freezes, is there a Freeze during the 4 Nations Tournament? Could GMs make moves (trades and the like) during that tournament. It shouldn't impact the rosters that much and if everyone is going to be together anyway, could the trade deadline start early?

Woudn't put anything past Drury. probably call him up Christmas morning - Merry Christmas and here's your present - you're fired.

I don't believe there is a freeze. I know last year Lindholm and Monahan were traded during the bye week+all-star break and I think Horvat went to the Islanders the year before during the bye week+all-star break and the 4 Nations Tournament is during that time this year.
