Not even sure why I am responding to this. Matthews is pretty well reportedly playing hurt and has been all season. Matthews was a Selke finalist last year and scored 69 goals.

Worst thing they can do is give him confidence. He is nervous and trying to settle in and prove to himself he can still do this. Him coming out of the 1st without giving up a goal is huge in that.
