I was Pettersson on skates when it came to hockey. Tall and lanky with a terrible center of balance. I was a MUCH better basketball playerI was always the best skater on the team. About the only kid who could skate backwards at an acceptable level, so it made other things easy.
Loved the old school heavy Titan and Koho sticks as a little kid........Couldn't stand the Easton's , i felt like i couldn't get any power on the puck with those..I was always the best skater on the team. About the only kid who could skate backwards at an acceptable level, so it made other things easy. Also probably played with an illegal curve.
I was competitive, so good at basketball but too short. In hockey, I was always our team's best center, defenseman, and goalie. But the competition sucked. My brother was way better, so that helpedI was Pettersson on skates when it came to hockey. Tall and lanky with a terrible center of balance. I was a MUCH better basketball player
Yeah, I think that is happening to us right now. Plus the fatigue from two straight Finals runs and add in that we play a playoff style in the regular season.
The novelty of playing the defending Cup champs will wear off after the break and then you'll get more normal games. But, yeah, the most important days will be the days off. Florida will be fine if they can get some quality rest.
Myers takes too many dumb penalties, obvious dumb penaltiesKinda soft interference call.
Feels MacK draws one of those a game. McDavid should take notes (and I mean that seriously)Kinda soft interference call.
Maybe it was a genius move by Myers since the Avs' PP is really awful.Myers takes too many dumb penalties, obvious dumb penalties
Jeez, that’s like half of a team! Tortz was a fantastic coach but so far not a good GMDon’t forget Askarov

Haven’t watched enough of this game to know. But holding Avs to nothing is hopefully a good sign for Demko.
Woodtrick!
Avs have been pretty bad, good game for Demko but he hasn’t really been tested with high danger chancesHaven’t watched enough of this game to know. But holding Avs to nothing is hopefully a good sign for Demko.
Woodtrick!
But one can tell that Demko is still struggling a little bit, not quite 100% of his old self yet.don’t usually pay a ton of attention to goalies but Demko is just so smooth and graceful in the crease it almost jumps off the screen. total economy of movement
Looks a lot better than his last game, so progressBut one can tell that Demko is still struggling a little bit, not quite 100% of his old self yet.
